Carer Allowance is a Centrelink payment for parents or carers of children under the age of 16 years with a disability or severe medical condition. To be eligible for this funding, parents or carers must live in the same house as their dependant.
You need to contact Centrelink for further details. You will need to fill out an application form, provide proof of identity and then contact your GP to finalise them. Centrelink will contact you to inform you if you are eligible to receive this allowance.
