Tim is extremely excited to be part of the team of Occupational Therapists at Sensational Kids. Tim works closely alongside our other OTs, Psychologists and Speech Therapists in providing a range of services including individual sensory integration therapy, developmental playgroups and social skills groups.
Tim has studied at La Trobe University, completing his Bachelor of Occupational Therapy degree in 2009. Tim has had previous experience working with children in various educational environments, hospitals and home-based settings.
Tim is passionate and committed to helping improve the social, emotional, and developmental needs of children, in partnership with their families. Tim strongly believes that an integrated and holistic approach to therapy promotes the best therapeutic outcomes

Kate is a confident, highly skilled paediatric Occupational Therapist with experience in a wide range of settings including physical rehabilitation, mental health and early intervention. She has also had the opportunity to work abroad as a paediatric Occupational Therapist in Ireland and Canada.
Kate enjoys working with children immensely, and believes that developing happiness and confidence in a child is paramount to the both their development & wellbeing.
Kate is enjoying employing and strengthening her skills in the DIR Floortime approach with the children at Sensational Kids.

Brigid is a fun, knowledgeable and highly motivated Occupational Therapist with experience in providing therapy for children with sensory processing dysfunction, fine and gross motor difficulties and attention deficits.
Brigid completed her degree in Occupational Therapy at La Trobe University in 2006 and since then has worked extensively in paediatrics within a multi-disciplinary setting. Previously located at Sale Hospital, Brigid was actively involved in the diagnostic process along with paediatricians and other therapists, in addition to providing ongoing individual and group therapy.
She enjoys using Floortime to compliment her traditional therapy approaches with her clients and it is through the combined use of these approaches that Brigid achieves great outcomes for the children she works with.

Alicia is an experienced therapist who is passionate about working with children and their families. She has experience in a variety of settings including adult and paediatric disability, early intervention, and Sensory Integration (SI) Therapy. She has most recently spent time working in SI Therapy clinics in London and Belgium practicing focused clinic-based SI therapy as well as school-based sessions assisting teachers integrate SI in to the classroom.
Alicia particularly enjoys seeing the huge changes in children’s self-confidence once parents and teachers fully understand their individual sensory needs and learning styles.
Alicia is enjoying strengthening her DIR Floortime skills, and integrating her knowledge of Sensory Processing in to this model of therapy.
