Our Music Therapists are qualified health professionals using music as the medium for social, motor and cognitive therapy. Music Therapists work in both individual and group settings, helping children develop these vital skills through fun and engaging therapy.

Music Therapists


Edwina graduated from the Masters of Music Therapy from The University of Melbourne in 2020, and the Masters of Music (Performance Teaching) prior. Previously, she was a Performing Arts teacher in primary schools for 6 years, and has experience working with children with disabilities, ASD and/or other developmental challenges in classroom settings.


Edwina believes in a holistic and child-centred approach, and is passionate about providing creative opportunities for the child to thrive. She has a particular interest in working with children and young people with social skills, emotional regulation and mental health support. She is also fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. Outside of the clinic, Edwina is running most of the time, also enjoys doing aerial yoga and reading. Edwina works at our Kensington site on Mondays and Wednesdays.


Bingyu graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2021 with a master in Music Therapy. She has four years of experience working with children with ASD and is passionate about working with children. She believes in a humanistic and family-centred approach to music therapy and believes that each child has their own unique abilities and resources. Bingyu is also fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys singing, writing songs and playing with her dog and bird. Bingyu is based at our Ormond site.
